Detox | Ambulatory Detoxification Program
IPS operates an Ambulatory Detoxification program for participants using Benzodiazapines, Alcohol & Opiates. While the MAT program is strongly encouraged for clients with moderate to severe opiate use disorders, some may elect the ambulatory detox program which guides the client through a titration of Buprenorphine. In cases of Benzodiazapine & Alcohol use, IPS utilizes a Chlordiazepoxide titration treatment.
All clients are monitored via daily outpatient visits by skilled medical staff for signs and symptoms of withdrawals. This allows the client’s body to rid itself slowly of the substance while also allowing them to continue with their regular responsibilities. The client is required to check into treatment at allotted times for counseling, symptom monitoring, and medication.
